Welcome to Material characterization LAB

In this laboratory, our aim is to determine the influence of each physicochemical factor on the properties of materials based on the analysis of structure, composition, and bonding properties, and to control the properties of materials by adjusting these factors.

The basic properties of the materials are mainly targeting the properties of thin film devices such as three-dimensional memory, piezoelectric, and bulk materials such as nanoporous structure-based aerogels. Based on the properties such as surface bonding, piezoelectricity, light emission, adsorption, catalyst, etc., our laboratory is focusing on the analysis based on the composition and binding characteristics of materials for the optimizations with the various field of applications such as thermal insulation, sound insulation, photocatalysts, electrocatalysts, and secondary-ion battery materials.
